Performing Instant Recovery
You can immediately restore VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Nutanix AHV VMs directly from Veeam Service Provider Console.

To perform this task, a user must have one of the following roles assigned: Company Owner, Company Administrator.
Performing Instant Recovery for VMs
Before You Begin
Before you perform instant recovery, check the prerequisites specified in the following sections of the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide:
Performing Instant Recovery
To perform instant recovery:
- Log in to Veeam Service Provider Console.
For details, see Accessing Veeam Service Provider Console.
- In the menu on the left, click Protected Data.
- Open the Virtual Machines tab and navigate to Virtual Infrastructure.
- Click a link in the Backups column.
Veeam Service Provider Console will open the Backups window.
- Select the necessary backup job in the list.
- At the top of the list, click Instant Recovery.
Alternatively, you can right-click the necessary backup job and select Instant Recovery.
- Select the necessary platform.
Veeam Service Provider Console will open a restore wizard from the Veeam Backup & Replication web UI. To perform instant recovery, follow the procedure as described in the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide, starting from the following steps:
- VMware vSphere: Step 2. Select Workloads and Restore Points
- Microsoft Hyper-V: Step 2. Select Workloads and Restore Points
- Nutanix AHV: Step 2. Select Restore Point
You can monitor the restore status in the Veeam Backup & Replication web UI. For details, see section Viewing Logs and Events in the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide.
