Restoring Disks
You can restore Nutanix AHV VM disks directly from Veeam Service Provider Console.
Before You Begin
Before you restore a Nutanix AHV VM disk, make sure your service provider has enabled the following options:
- Veeam Backup & Replication REST API access
- Redirecting to the Veeam Backup & Replication web UI wizards from Veeam Service Provider Console

Restoring disks is available for Veeam Backup & Replication version 13.1 or later. |
Required Privileges
To perform this task, a user must have one of the following roles assigned: Company Owner, Company Administrator.
Restoring Disks
To restore disks:
- Log in to Veeam Service Provider Console.
For details, see Accessing Veeam Service Provider Console.
- In the menu on the left, click Protected Data.
- Open the Virtual Machines tab and navigate to Virtual Infrastructure.
- Click a link in the Backups column.
Veeam Service Provider Console will open the Backups window.
- Select the necessary backup job in the list.
- At the top of the list, click Instant Disk Recovery.
Alternatively, you can right-click the necessary backup job and select Instant Disk Recovery.
Veeam Service Provider Console will open the Restore Disk wizard from the Veeam Backup & Replication web UI. To restore disks, follow the procedure as described in the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide, starting from Step 2. Select Virtual Machine.
