Storage Snapshot Only Jobs

The Storage Snapshot Only job is similar to scheduling automatic snapshot creation via the NetApp management console.

When the backup job runs, Veeam Backup & Replication does not create Veeam backup files in the backup repository. It only triggers storage snapshots by the schedule defined in the job settings. This type of job let you create scheduled storage snapshots in the following destinations:

On the primary NetApp storage array where VM disks are located.
In the secondary destination — NetApp SnapMirror or SnapVault.
