Opening Oracle Database Manually

    You can restore the Oracle database from the storage snapshot with file-level restore and open it manually.

    1. Perform VM guest OS files restore for the virtualized Oracle server. For more information, see Restoring VM Guest OS Files (Microsoft Windows).
    2. In the Veeam Backup browser, locate the database file and double-click it or select the file and click Application Items > Oracle databases on the ribbon.
    3. Veeam Backup & Replication will attach the restored database to the staging server and open the selected database in Veeam Explorer for Oracle. After that, you can restore the database to the necessary Oracle server.

    • Open Veeam Explorer for Oracle and press [F1].
    • Select Help > Help or Online Help from the main menu of Veeam Explorer for Oracle.
