Tape Libraries
Icon | Description | Component state |
| Tape library icon | The tape device is connected. |
| SCSI connection icon over tape library | The tape device is connected over SCSI. |
Drives
Icon | Description | Component state |
| Drive icon | The drive is enabled. |
| Minus sign over drive icon | The drive is disabled. |
Media pools
Icon | Description | Component state |
| Tape over green folder | Free media pool |
| Tape over blue folder | Imported media pool |
| Tape over red folder | Unrecognized media pool |
| Tape over gray folder | Retired media pool |
| Tape over yellow folder | Simple media pool |
| Tape over calendar icon | GFS media pool |

| Yellow tape | The tape is online. |
| Gray tape | The tape is offline. |
| Broken yellow tape | The tape is online and retired. |
| Broken gray tape | The tape is offline and retired. |
| Key over yellow tape | The tape is online and encrypted. |
| Key over gray tape | The tape is offline and encrypted. |
| Blue lock over yellow tape | The tape is online and software protected. |
| Gray lock over yellow tape | The tape is online and hardware protected. |
