Exporting to Custom Location

This section explains how to export a standalone database or a Data Guard database as database files to a selected point-in-time state on the backup file. Your Oracle data will be restored to a custom location.

Note

When exporting from a Data Guard configuration as described in this section, the databases from the Data Guard configuration will be exported as standalone Oracle databases, preserving no Data Guard infrastructure.

To export database files to a custom location, do the following:

Launch the Export wizard.
Specify a restore point.
Fine-tune the restore point.
Specify export location.
Review the export summary.
