Publishing to Specified Server

This section explains how to publish a standalone database or Data Guard database to the specified Oracle server.

Note

When publishing from a Data Guard configuration as described in this section, the databases from the Data Guard configuration will be published as standalone Oracle databases, preserving no Data Guard infrastructure.

To publish data, take the following steps:

Launch the Publish wizard.
Specify a restore point.
Fine-tune the restore point.
Specify the target Oracle server.
Specify Oracle settings.
Review the publishing summary.
