Restoring VM Guest OS Files (Multi-OS)

To restore VM guest OS files and folders from Linux or Unix-based machines, use the Guest File Restore wizard.

  1. Check prerequisites.
  2. Launch the Guest File Restore wizard.
  3. Select a VM.
  4. Select a restore point.
  5. Specify a helper host.
  6. Select location for a helper appliance.
  7. Specify a restore reason.
  8. Finalize restore.
