Creating Jobs

With Veeam Self-Service Backup Portal, members of a VMware Cloud Director organization can create Cloud Director backup jobs. The jobs you create are shown in Veeam Backup & Replication console under the Jobs node and in Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager on the Jobs tab. The jobs have the <Cloud Director_org_name> prefix.

To create a Cloud Director backup job, use the Create Backup Job wizard:

1. Launch the wizard.
2. Specify job name and retention settings.
3. Specify a list of VMs.
4. Configure VM processing order.
5. Configure guest OS processing settings.
6. Configure job schedule.
7. Configure email notifications.
