Customizing Portal Branding

You can customize appearance of the Veeam Availability Console portal, chargeback reports, backup reports and email notifications in accordance with your company branding. As part of the customization, you can perform the following tasks:

  • Choose a color scheme for the portal
  • Change the default portal website address
  • Replace the default logo displayed at the top left corner of the portal
  • Replace the default company logo displayed in chargeback reports, backup reports and email notifications
  • Replace the default website icon (favicon)

To customize portal branding:

  1. Log in to Veeam Availability Console as a Portal Administrator.

  1. At the top right corner of the Veeam Availability Console window, click Configuration.
  2. In the configuration menu on the left, click Company Info.
  3. At the top, open the Portal Branding tab.
  4. In the Color scheme list, choose a set of colors that must be used in the Veeam Availability Console user interface: Blue, Green, Turquoise or Yellow. Click Set Scheme.

The chosen color scheme and style will be visible to all portal users, including Portal Administrators, Portal Operators, Department Administrators, Department Users and Invoice Auditors.

  1. In the Portal web address field, check the URL of the Veeam Availability Console.

If the default URL does not coincide with the real URL of the Veeam Availability Console, change the URL and click Apply.

The portal web address is displayed in email notifications sent by Veeam Availability Console, such as welcome or alarm notifications. Make sure that you specify a valid URL in the Portal web address field, so that client users can access the portal by clicking the URL in email notifications.

  1. In the Portal logo section, click Browse and specify a path to the image that must displayed at the top left corner of the Veeam Availability Console window. In the Upload Image window, review the new portal logo and click Upload. In the window with the file upload result, click OK.

The image must be in the PNG format. The image dimensions must be 400 x 32 pixels.

To restore the default portal logo, click Set to Default.

  1. In the Report logo section, click Browse and specify a path to the image that must be displayed in chargeback reports, backup reports and email notifications. In the Upload Image window, review the new report logo and click Upload. In the window with the file upload result, click OK.

The image must be in the PNG format. The image dimensions must be 115 x 45 pixels.

To restore the default report logo, click Set to Default.

  1. In the Web site icon section, click Browse and specify a path to the image that must be displayed as a website icon (favicon) for Veeam Availability Console. In the Upload Image window, review the new website icon and click Upload. In the window with the file upload result, click OK.

The image must be in the ICO format. The image dimensions must be 16 x 16 pixels.

To restore the default website icon, click Set to Default.
