Step 10. Relocate Monitoring Jobs

All new jobs have been initially placed in the Production monitoring group, because this was originally the Default Monitoring Group. Even after renaming, this group is still internally marked as the default group for new jobs and new Collectors.

As this example requires the Development vCenter Server to be monitored with different settings, you must move the jobs to the Development monitoring group. To do that:

1. Expand the Production Collector node, select any monitoring job and click Move.
2. In the Move Monitoring Job window, select the Move all monitoring jobs check box.
3. Choose the Collector where you want to move all the jobs and click Apply.
