Creating Backup Jobs

In Veeam Service Provider Console, you can configure Veeam Backup & Replication job settings on servers allocated to the company by your service provider.

Before you create a backup job, check prerequisites specified in the Before You Begin section of the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide.

Note:

This functionality is available for Veeam Backup & Replication version 12.1 or later.

Make sure you have enabled Veeam Backup & Replication REST API access.

To create a backup job, complete the following steps:

Launch the New vSphere Backup Job wizard.
Specify the backup job name and description.
Select objects to back up.
Specify backup repository settings.
Specify guest OS processing options.
Configure backup job schedule.
Review backup job settings.
