Managing Veeam Backup for Public Clouds Appliances

If you want to manage hosted Veeam Backup for Amazon Web Services, Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure and Veeam Backup for Google Cloud appliances in Veeam Service Provider Console, you can add these appliances to a hosted Veeam Cloud Connect server using Veeam Service Provider Console plugin.

To monitor Veeam Backup for Public Clouds appliances managed by Veeam Backup & Replication, you must connect to Veeam Service Provider Console Veeam Backup & Replication servers with which Veeam Backup for Public Clouds appliances are integrated. For details, see Connecting Veeam Backup & Replication Servers. Note that Veeam Backup for Public Clouds appliances managed by Veeam Backup & Replication cannot be managed in Veeam Service Provider Console.

 

Note:

If you want to manage Veeam Backup for Public Clouds appliances managed by Veeam Backup & Replication, you must recreate public cloud and guest OS accounts used to connect to the appliance and assign them to the appliances you want to manage.
