Modifying Management Agent Label

You can assign provider labels to Veeam Service Provider Console management agents deployed in the client or hosted infrastructure. These labels are not visible to reseller and company users.

Required Privileges

To perform this task, a user must have one of the following roles assigned: Portal Administrator, Site Administrator, Portal Operator.

Assigning Labels to Discovered Computers

  1. Log in to Veeam Service Provider Console.

  1. In the menu on the left, click Discovery.
  2. Open the Discovered Computers tab and navigate to Computers.
  3. Select the necessary computers in the list.
  4. At the top of the list, click Management Agent and select Assign Label.

Alternatively, you can click a link in the Label column. If the column is hidden, click the ellipsis on the right of the list header and select Label in the list of properties that must be displayed.

  1. In the Assign Label window, select a label that must be assigned to the computers and click Assign.

Assigning Labels to Veeam Backup Agents

  1. Log in to Veeam Service Provider Console.

  1. In the menu on the left, click Discovery.
  1. Open the Backup Agents tab.
  1. Select the necessary agents in the list.
  1. At the top of the list, click Backup Agent and select Assign Label.

Alternatively, you can click a link in the Label column. If the column is hidden, click the ellipsis on the right of the list header and select Label in the list of properties that must be displayed.

  1. In the Assign Label window, select a label that must be assigned to the agents and click Assign.

Assigning Labels to Veeam Backup & Replication Servers

  1. Log in to Veeam Service Provider Console.

  1. In the menu on the left, click Discovery.
  1. Open the Backup Servers tab.
  1. Select the necessary computers in the list.
  1. At the top of the list, click Server Actions and select Assign Label.

Alternatively, you can click a link in the Label column. If the column is hidden, click the ellipsis on the right of the list header and select Label in the list of properties that must be displayed.

  1. In the Assign Label window, select a label that must be assigned to the servers and click Assign.

Assigning Labels to Veeam ONE Servers

  1. Log in to Veeam Service Provider Console.

  1. Log in to Veeam Service Provider Console.

  1. Open the Microsoft 365 Servers tab.
  1. Select the necessary computers in the list.
  1. At the top of the list, click Assign Label.

  1. In the Assign Label window, select a label that must be assigned to the servers and click Assign.

Creating Labels

To create a provider label:

  1. In the Assign Label window, click Create Label.

Veeam Service Provider Console will open the Create Label window.

Modifying Management Agent Label

  1. In the Label field, specify a name for the label.
  2. In the Description field, add a description for the label.
  3. Click Add.

Unassigning Labels

To unassign a label from management agent:

  1. Log in to Veeam Service Provider Console.

  1. In the menu on the left, click Discovery.
  2. Open the Discovered Computers tab and navigate to Computers.
  3. Select the necessary management agent in the list.
  4. At the top of the list, click Management Agent and choose and select Assign Label.

Alternatively, you can click a link in the Label column. If the column is hidden, click the ellipsis on the right of the list header and select Label in the list of properties that must be displayed.

  1. In the Assign Label window, click Unassign.
  2. In the confirmation window, click Yes.
