Configuring Vaults Assignment

To add a Veeam Data Cloud storage vault to your backup infrastructure, you must assign the vault to a Veeam Backup & Replication server. When you assign a vault, the backup server will be automatically registered in Veeam Data Cloud.

Assigning Storage Vaults

To assign a storage vault to a Veeam Backup & Replication server:

  1. Log in to Veeam Service Provider Console.

For details, see Accessing Veeam Service Provider Console.

  1. At the top right corner of the Veeam Service Provider Console window, click Configuration.
  2. In the configuration menu on the left, click Catalog.
  3. Click the Veeam Vault plugin tile.
  4. In the menu on the left, click Backup Servers.
  5. Select the necessary server in the list.

To narrow down the list of servers, you can apply the following filters:

  • Vault compatibility — limit the list of servers by compatibility with Veeam Data Cloud Vault (Compatible, Not compatible).
