Changing Time Zone

Veeam Backup for AWS displays date and time values for all data protection and disaster recovery operations according to the time zone on the backup server.

Since the backup server is deployed on an EC2 instance, it is set to the UTC time zone by default. If necessary, you can change this setting. For example, you may want the time on the backup server to match the time on the local machine from which you access Veeam Backup for AWS.

To change the time zone on the backup server:

  1. At the top right corner of the Veeam Backup for AWS window, click Configuration.
  2. In the configuration menu on the left, click Settings.
  3. On the Time Zone tab, select the necessary time zone from the Time zone drop-down list.
  4. Click Save.

To set the time zone back to UTC, click Reset to UTC and click Yes to confirm the operation.

I want to report a typo

There is a misspelling right here:

I want to let the Veeam Documentation Team know about that.
