Hardened Repository as VMware Backup Proxy

You can add a hardened repository as a VMware backup proxy using the New VMware Proxy wizard. For more information, see Adding VMware Backup Proxies.

Note

For security reasons, only the Network mode (NBD) is supported. If you assign the backup proxy role to a hardened repository, other transport modes will not be available for selection.
