Restoring Virtual Disks

You can restore virtual disks of a VM from backups. The restored disks can be attached to the original VM (for example, if you need to replace a corrupted disk) or mapped to any other VM in the virtual infrastructure.

Before you restore virtual disks from the backup, check prerequisites. Then use the Virtual Disk Restore wizard to restore the necessary VM disks.

  1. Launch the Hard Disk Restore wizard
  2. Select a VM
  3. Select a restore point
  4. Select virtual hard disks to restore
  5. Specify secure restore settings
  6. Specify a restore reason
  7. Finish working with the wizard
I want to report a typo

There is a misspelling right here:

I want to let the Veeam Documentation Team know about that.
