Configuring Roles Using Web UI

You can create custom roles to allow users and groups to manage backups, perform restores, or both. For each custom role, you can limit access to specific workloads, backup repositories, restore options and restore targets. To configure a custom role in the Veeam Backup & Replication web UI, use the New Custom Role wizard and complete the following steps:

1. Launch the New Custom Role wizard
2. Specify role name, description and capabilities
3. Define the inventory scope
4. Define the repository scope
5. Configure the restore permissions
6. Define the restore target scope
7. Finish working with the wizard
