Instant Recovery of Point-in-Time State
To perform instant recovery of an instance to a selected point-in-time state, use the Instant Recovery wizard.
- Launch the Instant Recovery wizard.
- Specify a restore point.
- Specify switchover settings.
- Finalize the Instant Recovery session.

Point-in-time restore is available only if write-ahead log (WAL) file backups exist. For more information, see Required Job Settings. |
