Veeam Backup & Replication offers data protection and disaster recovery features for applications running in Kubernetes clusters protected by Veeam Kasten. Using Veeam Plug-in for Kasten, you can manage Kasten instances and Kasten policies from the Veeam Backup & Replication console.

Specifically, you can perform the following data protection and disaster recovery operations:

Keep backups of applications exported by Kasten policies in Veeam backup repositories.
Create backup copies of exported backups and copy them to tape devices and to cloud repositories of service providers.
Restore applications to Kubernetes clusters from Kasten exports and snapshots.
Restore persistent disks from exported backups and convert them to disks in the VMDK, VHD or VHDX format.
Perform Instant First Class Disk (FCD) Recovery.
Restore guest OS files and folders from exported backups.
