Creating Protection Group for Cloud Machines

NOTE

You can create this protection group type in the Veeam Backup & Replication console only. In the Veeam Backup & Replication web UI, protection groups of this type are read-only.

Before you create a protection group for cloud machines, check prerequisites. Then use the New Protection Group wizard to configure a protection group.

Launch the New Protection Group wizard.
Specify protection group name and description.
Specify account.
Specify cloud machines.
Exclude objects from the protection group.
Specify permissions.
Specify discovery and deployment options.
Specify advanced protection group settings.
Assess results.
Finish working with the wizard.
