Step 6. Review Components

At the Review step of the wizard, review what Veeam Backup & Replication components are already installed on the Veeam Backup & Replication server and what components will be installed. The distribution server for an InterSystems IRIS protection group is always the Veeam Backup & Replication server. Unlike other protection group types, you cannot assign a dedicated distribution server to reduce the workload on the backup server. The Veeam Backup & Replication server connects directly to every ODB server in the protection group to install Veeam components. For details, see Distribution Server and Ports.

1. Review the components.
2. Click Apply to add the configured protection group to the inventory.
